No accountability for issues with FedEx
This is the first time I’ve left a review on Trust Pilot. I received an empty box from Saks- the merchandise was missing despite an order requisition and some black tissue paper being inside. It looks like the box was tampered with, but of course I have no idea if it was, or it left the warehouse or store empty. I asked for an investigation and refund; I immediately ordered a replacement item through Saks (again) thinking they’d refund my money and pursue the issue with FedEx or their distribution company- like most companies do. Instead like the reviews below, they opened a case and refused a refund. Given the number of missing packages mentioned below, for which Saks has absolved themselves from all responsibility, it’s clear that this is a major issue. I’ll be contacting my credit card company to see if I can get the initial charge charged back as I never received the product, and I’m never shopping at Saks again. To think I thought it was a luxury department store. I’m angry I even ordered a replacement item from them as there’s no guarantee it’ll get here, and I’ll be out even more money.

Do not waste your time
The problem started when I tried place my order and wanted to use one of their two promo codes, which were promoted on head of their site. It said that promo successfully applied and I had 10% off, but at the checkout the price were the same. Same in their app with 15% off code.
Anyway, I placed the order, since my size was available only on Saks.
At the very end, after 4 days, they sent me a message that the item been sold-out and my order cancelled.
Never again.

Saks sucks
Saks is not an e-commerce retailer, it is a money extortionist and a thief. Let me explain. This holiday season two of my orders from Saks got lost: one was lost in transit, the other I returned but the company hasn't acknowledged the return despite a proof of delivery from DHL. Since the end of December I am on the phone twice a week with these folks and still can't get my money back. Customer service associates (remind me of chat bots at times, as they repeat the same thing over and over) open one "case" after another with absolutely zero follow through. Nothing works, waiting times to speak to a "supervisor" are close to an hour. I have never gotten through to one. Seriously, I wonder, given so many disgruntled and unhappy customers, maybe there is a class action lawsuit against Saks that I can join. Otherwise I am at loss of what else to do to get my money back.

My jacket was covered in pet hair
I ordered a black Rag and Bone jacket - when I opened the package it was covered in pet hair inside and out. How someone thought it was ok to ship this to me is unbelievable.
Very unprofessional and even though I am not opposed to pets this was gross!

Lost Saks return and Saks refuses to give refund
I order from Saks.com and offfifth.com on a regular basis. I ordered 4 formal gowns to be overnighted on 12/21 for a party on 12/23. When the dresses arrived two of them were very poor quality and the other 2 did not fit. I placed the label from the box on the outside and returned it on 12/22. A month later I still had not received a refund. I called Saks numerous times and was told that the label in the box "is an old label and can not be tracked". I spoke with numerous supervisors and even placed a claim with Amex and have been getting the run around for weeks along with receiving conflicting information from each employee. I have been hung up on and told there was nothing they can do. And STILL have not received my $680 refund for the items that I returned over a month ago.

Money hungry collectors!
Can not believe Saks sacks this much!
Few experiences to ordering stuff in person, at the store at the store, then receiving emails saying it is delayed, then after 6 months saying that item is no longer available.
Now! This time the problem is the refund for the amount of $648. Been 2 months already. I called already 10 times. They said takes 10-15 days. It has been 50 days. Still did not get my refund.

Most incompetent, lowest skilled customer service team
The entire customer service chat team should be overhauled. No wonder why Saks has not done well financially. Incompetent people are working with no idea about how to address simple things like returns. Bunch of low skilled labor. Let's hope this store shuts down or bankrupts.

Great online experience!
I was hesitating before buying a Helmut Lang dress on final sale in online store because of the bad reviews, but surprisingly it was an amazing experience. The item was shipped the next day, in 2-3 days with free shipping I got the dress in a very good packaging and it's exactly the same as on the picture. This is my first purchase ever at Saks and I'll be back for more online shopping!
Horrible customer service
Took over 2 months for a price adjustment which I have call in over 10 times to follow up. Got hang up on so many times, and yet still not gotten my refund. Horrible!
Worst company to purchase from!
I bought a pair of designer boots from Saks. At the time I also purchsed a pair of leather pants. This gave me a gift card, which I used to buy two sweaters.Due to the sizing issues with a French designer the boots were too small. They were returned. Saks subtracted the gift card from the return. I received all items and chose to return all of them as the quality was not there. I sent the items back expedited shipping at my cost! Took photos of all items in the box, stapled all documents together to show which were returned and the reference of two order numbers on the ship label.Have the name of the person who accepted my return. When the items were refunded they said the leather pants in the garment bag were not there. This is an issue I read many times in reviews now that it happened to me. I have called 9 times each time will be at least one hour long to make customers give up! I was issued 5 gift cards to make up this error and each one was approved by a supervisor then some mysterious department would email that it was declined! Finally, I had completed what I thought was my refund nightmare when I went to the Boca store to make a purchase the largest of the cards was declined and I was told it was shut off! This is ricidulous! My card good for the money I was due as a refund was shut off? During this issue I was advised to open an account to provide me a discount to help make my first purchase with my refund gift cards a better deal. Well, the new boots I purchased needed to be put on my Discover card as their system approved but could not authorize a first day purchase for a few weeks. REALLY? Every store does this in a few minutes of time. I will be making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Saks does not realize their are other retailers who do not cheat their customers! NEVER buy from them! Had to give one star per this site please know I really give NO stars to Saks 5th Ave!

I have seen the reviews, but decided to risk it. Perhaps I am one of the rare few, however, I received this item in the UK (From USA). The tracking was excellent shipping speed amazing, the price brilliant and the item fantastic. I have had no issues at all and I am very pleased.

Saks Fifth Avenue would not honor a special promo price reduction on a pair of pants I purchased 3 days prior. I was a GREAT customer until they f*cked with me. I paid $300 that should have been credited back to my card. I’m done with this POS store.

Refund is taking more than 2 months
I placed an order and asked for a refund. Instead they sent me a gift card. I called and asked that I wanted the refund in the original payment method, and until now I have not received it. It has been over one month and a half. Just spent more than two hours with them on the phone and they said that yes they owe me the refund but that it will take another 7 days to analyze the case and then another 14 business days for me to receive my refund. In summary, it will take around 3 months for me to get my money back. This is absurd. Do not buy there!
